    Gebaseerd in Rully, een klein dorpje in de Côte Chalonnaise, heeft het Maison Vitteaut Alberti zijn reputatie van uitmuntendheid in de productie van Crémant de Bourgogne behouden sinds 1951, toen Lucien Vitteaut en zijn vrouw Agnès Alberti het bedrijf oprichtten. Zijn zoon Gérard nam het wijnhuis in 1969 over, en sinds 2010 wordt het beheerd door zijn dochter Agnès. Het huis bezit ongeveer 23 ha wijngaarden in de Côte Chalonnaise en de Hautes-Côtes de Beaune en produceert Chardonnay, Pinot Noir en Aligoté druiven voor hun uitstekende mousserende wijnen.

    De cuvée Crémant de Bourgogne Blanc de Blancs Methode Traditionelle is een verfijnde en pure blend van witte druiven uit de Côte Chalonnaise. De wijn wordt geproduceerd volgens de traditionele methode, met een tweede gisting in de fles en 3 jaar geraffineerd in geklimatiseerde groeven bij 15 graden.

    In het glas toont de wijn een mooie heldere gouden kleur en fijne belletjes. De aroma's van wit rijp fruit worden ondersteund door citrustonen van grapefruit en sinaasappelschil. In de mond is de wijn levendig en harmonieus met licht bittere accenten en een aangename rondheid. De afdronk is elegant en aanhoudend en gaat gepaard met een mooie mineraliteit. Serveer hem op 7-8°C als aperitief of geniet ervan bij lichte voorgerechten en fingerfood.
