    Andrea en Chris Mullineux zijn het machtigste wijnmakerspaar van het Swartland dankzij het indrukwekkende succes van hun wijnhuis dat werd opgericht in 2007. In totaal hebben ze meer dan dertig 5-sterren beoordelingen van Platter's South African Wine Guide bij elkaar gesprokkeld en Andrea is ook uitgeroepen tot Wine Enthusiast's International Winemaker of the Year in 2016.

    Het duo heeft een cultstatus en lovende kritieken opgebouwd dankzij hun heerlijke Syrah en Chenin Blanc wijnen. Het fruit wordt zorgvuldig geselecteerd bij hun partnertelers en hun eigen wijngaarden op Roundstone Farm bij de iconische Kasteelberg.

    Barstensvol cassis, bramen en donkere pruimen, deze intense Syrah is ideaal voor iedereen die houdt van grote, gedurfde rode wijnen. Het fruit is afkomstig van uitstekende wijngaarden op leisteen-, schist- en granietbodems, wat bijdraagt aan een goed gestructureerde en krachtige wijn. Eenmaal in de wijnmakerij wordt het fruit vergist met inheemse gisten en rijpt de jonge wijn 11 maanden in Franse eiken vaten. Hij wordt gebotteld zonder klaring of filtering om het natuurlijke karakter van de druiven en het terroir te behouden. Ideaal om te drinken bij stevige vleesgerechten of desgewenst nog een paar jaar te bewaren.
