    George Lazaridi en zijn broer Gerasimos vertegenwoordigen de tweede generatie van het wijnhuis Costa Lazaridi, gevestigd in Adriani in Drama. Vandaag de dag bewerkt het bedrijf ongeveer 230 hectare wijngaarden met 25 verschillende rassen, en produceert 15 verschillende wijnen. Het bedrijf met vier verschillende wijnmerken (Amethystos, Chateau Julia, Domaine Costa Lazaridi en Enotria Land) produceert ook distillaten Tsipouro, Ouzo en Eau de Vie en balsamico-azijn.

    De druiven, afkomstig van biologische wijngaarden, worden gefermenteerd in eikenhouten vaten. De wijn rijpt vervolgens 24 maanden in nieuwe barriques.

    De wijn toont een dichte en bijna ondoordringbare kleur met donkerrode tonen. In de neus is hij complex en intens met aroma's van pruimen en gedroogde vijgen, kersenjam en nuances van vanille en leer als gevolg van de rijping op hout. De Costa Lazaridi Oenotria Land Syrah Agiorgitiko is zacht, rijk en heeft elegante en goed geïntegreerde tannines. Er is een goede zuurgraad die evenwicht en frisheid garandeert. De smaken van rijp fruit zijn opnieuw voelbaar op de afdronk die warm en aanhoudend is. De wijn is de ideale partner voor wildstoofpotten of rood vlees bereid in rode wijn en met kruiden.
